How to Upgrade to V1.2 - Amazon Signature Requirement

EasyStore V1.2 includes an update by Amazon which requires an Access ID and Secret ID. If you have a store before V1.2 or before August 3rd, your store will stop functioning on August 15th. Please submit a support ticket and we will email you the patch right away. We also offer an update service so you don't need to update it yourself. Below are intructions on how to update your store. Step 1 - Before you install the patch
Step 2 - Import Table UpdatesImport the new table fields into your database by importing the file named "storedesign.txt" using phpmyadmin or another database control panel. Usually you will click on "import" in the control panel, then "browse" to find the file. It will then update your database with the new fields. Step 3 - Install the files
To install, upload the new files provided in the following directories (be sure to overwrite or delete the existing files on the server) If you need the files, please support ticket. storeOwner/admin You can now log onto your easystore and configure it by clicking on the "admin" link in the upper right hand corner of your store. Step 3 - Enter your Amazon Associate ID and Access ID'sLog into your backend. Once logged in click next towards the bottom of the page until you get to "Personalize My Store". Here you can enter all of your ID's you should have gathered in the previous steps of this tutorial. |
